Let’s Talk Sports

Before we get too far, let me address the question of most importance, “Yes, there will be plenty of opportunities to play pickleball at the Livwell Community Center.” Our multi-purpose hard courts will allow set-up for up to (3) pickleball courts at a time per hard court space. We plan to have designated times when nets will be set-up during the week as well as offering league play and programming options. Beyond pickleball, what sports can you expect? My answer is simple, if the sport can be played on indoor turf, indoor hard courts, and/or ice, expect it to be offered in some form at the Livwell Community Center.

We will be offering many league formats and divisions including but not limited to offerings for youth and adults with men’s, women’s, CoEd divisions. Many of our leagues will allow for indvidual registration so that anyone can join even if they don’t have a full team that wants to play. Our league registration and scheduling process will all be run digitally through our website eliminating the hassle of chasing league paperwork or registration money from teammates. Most importantly, our leagues will be accessible and open to anyone regardless of skill set.

I will be featuring an overview of some unique sports offerings planned for our community center in a future blog. Bonus points for anyone that can name the sport pictured in this post. (Click on this link for the answer).
