Livwell Center Schedule at a Glance
The recreation center of today is no longer just basketball courts and swimming pools. In order to maximize usage and provide the greatest community impact it is important to plan spaces and programs that are multi-purpose and find ways to attract participants to your facility. Instead of having a dedicated conference room for recreation center staff to meet in twice a week, Why not create a centrally located meeting space in your facility that can be reserved by other community groups and businesses when the space sits idle? Instead of hoping for participants to show up and organize their own pick-up basketball games, facility managers should be actively finding ways to program the space with youth camps, sports leagues, team building activities, and special events. An outside of the box idea… How about scheduling organized pick-up basketball game times with referees that keep score and keep the peace?
